Everything will be ok. ???
On May 24th, 2005, Patrick o'Brien was officially diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (also known as ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease), a terminal disease that results in the progressive degeneration of the nerves and muscles responsible for voluntary movement. It is a fatal and incurable disease. He was 30 years old.
Patrick O'Brien, aka transfatty, was in the early days of the internet one of my heroes and always a true source of inspiration. I can only have the deepest respect for his courage. Check out the patrick o'brien foundation and help him finish his movie.

the advantage of a spec commercial...
... is that you can tell it as it is. A nice messy beauty by the directing duo Alex & Alex at sibling rivalry tv. PS 4 Tom W. Didn't you want to do something with paint?

Toshiba Ollallala.
Toshiba's £3m ad campaign, dubbed the world's first "timesculpture" commercial, manipulates "snapshots of time" using more than 200 camcorders and video data requiring 336 hours of processing. More blabla and embeded flash here.

Election Day
Lets hope America choose change.
Renowned director Mark Pellington of Crossroads directs a feel good campaign for the American Living line at JC Penney via Arcade Creative Group. The spot opens as the light of a vibrant sun cascades a swing. The mesmerizing lyrics of Brandi Carlile's Have You Ever instill a comforting lull as American living is portrayed through a simple, leisurely scenario.
